Transformation and Sanctification

Transformation and Sanctification

Pastor Lawrence A. Fox

May 29, 2010

God has given us many great and precious promises (2 Pet 1:4), that we do well to take heed of them. The Word of God offers us a life that we do not see many living on this earth. It is our desire to see many more living the abundant life that Jesus promised. As a Pastor, I am very involved in the lives of some who have had enough of the pains of this life, and who have the courage to go after all that God has intended for us in the promises of His Word. We believe that we would all do well to take heed.

These people are strong, brave and have the courage to confront the issues, sins, hurts and pains that may have affected their lives and their families for many years. It takes courage and boldness, but more importantly, a heavy reliance on the Love of the Father, the Name and Blood of Jesus Christ and the Power of the Holy Spirit, functioning and operational in our lives.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Father, we Return to the Eternal Truth of Your Word. Deliver us of the famine of hearing the Word of God in our lives, save us from:

Lack of Truth; Ungodly Beliefs (Lies); Rejection of Truth; and Half-truths

Am 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

In Jesus Name we Repent for: Bitterness, Unforgiveness, Resentment, Retaliation, Revenge, Anger, Hatred, Violence, Murder

While people all over the world suffer from one thing or another, for one reason or another, I am particularly concerned when I see Christians suffer physically, emotionally and financially for reasons other than for the name of Christ. I believe that such suffering is not Gods will and that it is entirely avoidable, if we would take heed and learn to live by Gods Ways as expressed in His Word.

Lord Jesus, Heal us of our Brokenness & Lovelessness:

Broken Marriages; Broken-Dreams; Broken-Spirits; Broken-Hearts; Lack of Love;  Hurt; Pain; Defilement; Deception & Destruction.

In rebuke one day, the Holy Spirit told me, You dont know how to live. I did not know what to make of that, so I decided to seek God in earnest to find out how to live. I believe that Jesus has made the way for us to live an abundant life on this earth, just as he said. But He also said that there is a thief who plots and plans to steal, kill and destroy our lives, our joy and our relationships. I have found that we often live our lives in such a way that we cooperate with the thiefs plans rather than the Saviors plans. We therefore end up with lives that full of deep pain and misery and with lives that are wrecked with thievery, murder and all kinds of destruction.

We cast out Self-condemnation, Guilt, Shame, Remorse, Insecurity, Hopelessness; Grief; Suffering; Loss

We break the cycles of destruction: (CYCLE OF: Fear-Shame-Control); (CYCLE OF: Control-Rejection-Rebellion)

Some of us have only begun to learn how to live by Gods Ways and by Gods Word. Life for us today is based on Love, Confession, Repentance and Forgiveness in all of our dealings and in all of our relationships.

It is our desire to communicate what God has shown us to as many as we possibly can in our lives and ministry. Therefore, we begun a ministry effort called Transformation and Sanctification.

This is an in-reach ministry that reaches in to the depths of our hearts and lives with the Word of God and spiritual principles. It helps us all to visualize Gods ways compared to our own ways and encourages us to end our rebellion, by repeatedly deciding to live our lives in Gods ways and by Gods Word.

We will be regularly posting articles, notes and instructions here on our website.

We meet on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sunday evenings from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. We are all growing in the knowledge of our Lord and we are being Transformed into His Image and Sanctified by His Spirit.

Holy Spirit, Strength us & give us the Truth of Your Word for the Battle:

Spiritual Warfare, Demonic Interference, Demonic Oppression,

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

I John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Ephesians 6:10-20 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

2 Corinthians 10:3-8 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
