Greater Measure of the Holy Spirit

I am sitting here in our hotel room in
I am so thrilled at how the Holy Spirit showed up last night as we conducted our Bible Study here in
We learned that He often waits for us to Recognize His continuing work in the earth, Identify His work in our individual lives, Communicate with Him much more frequently and Obey Him in everything He says to do. Some Christians believe that the real power and work of the Holy Spirit ended in the first century, after the New Testament was written. However, we recognize that God still sends His Holy Spirit today and truly desires to give us this precious gift (Luke 11:13). He is just waiting for them to ask Him. However, we are not critical or judgmental of others and their Christian walk.
We had a wonderful time with these and more revelations from the Word of God and made a commitment to be more aware of His presence in our lives every day and in every circumstance.
Since our Transformation and Sanctification session will not meet this week, I wanted to send a communication to you to encourage you. My encouragement to you is to spend some conscious thought on the filling of the Holy Spirit and spend some time in prayer inviting the Holy Spirit to come into your life in a greater measure. The Bible teaches that Jesus received not the Spirit of God by measure (John 3:34). That means that Jesus did not have only a portion of the Spirit of God, but that He yielded Himself totally, to be led by the Spirit and was guided by the Spirit in every thing that He did. I believe that if each of us would do as Jesus did, then we also would have the Spirit of God infill us in greater measure and therefore we will be able to do some of the things that Jesus did.
We are asking God for His Spirit in greater measure and ask that you join us in doing the same. Do not ask for a greater measure and then have no expectation of receiving it. When we ask for the Spirit of God in greater measure, we must ask in faith, believing what we have asked for, and then we must make it the confession of our mouths that we are living in expectation of receiving the Spirit of God in greater measure.
Suggested Prayer: Come, Holy Spirit! Fill us with Your presence and Your power. We focus our attention on You!
Give us more faith, more hope and an increased expectation that we will walk in a greater deliverance and greater power than we have ever walked in before. We thank You for living inside of us and for the evidence of speaking in tongues.
We also thank You for a greater measure of the anointing and power that we will walk as Jesus walked and do as Jesus did on the earth.
We welcome You into our lives in greater measure. We honor You and listen for what You are saying to us.
We thank You for Your ministry to our lives. Our expectation is to see Your manifestations in our lives as we give You more attention and more deliberate communication. Thank You for all You have done for us and will do in the future.
In Jesus’ Name we pray. AMEN!
