Transformation and Sanctification

Meeting Follow-up and Scheduling Announcement

May 6, 2010

To Our Brothers and Sisters:

Our Sunday night May 2, 2010, Transformation and Sanctification session started with a review of the prior session, which was on Bitter Root Judgment and Expectancy. We reviewed how “Bitterness” gets established in our hearts and how it affects our thinking and our relationships. We saw the Biblical warning in Hebrews 12:15, which told us that we must beware and be diligent.

Hebrews 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

All of us can identify with these results in our families, with our friends, and even in our own lives.

We also reviewed how to accomplish deliverance from the bitterness that defiles our relationships, even if another person continues to act in a way that is negative or sinful. We closed this area with prayer and then we went into our lesson for the night.

Sunday’s lesson was about “Basic Trust” and it was very enlightening and challenging to those of us who where present. People are still talking about Sunday night. We dealt with how trust is formed in our developmental years, and what happens when trust is broken in the early stages of our lives. We look forward to our next meeting when we will continue with this discussion and intercession for healing of areas where we find that we have not trusted God or significant others in our lives.

We will not have a meeting this Sunday night because of Mother’s Day, but we will follow up on this topic on the following Sunday May 16, 2010. May God richly bless you with strength, health and healing as you continually seek Him in all walks of life.
